Makes 12 Patties

Ingredients:
8 ounces tempeh, grated
½ cup vegetable broth
1/4 cup rolled oats (can use Bob’s Red Mills Gluten Free Oatmeal)
2 Tablespoons Tamari, or Bragg's Liquid Aminos
1 Tablespoon organic canola oil
1 teaspoon each of sage, thyme, and marjoram
Water as needed
Spray oil for baking
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a small saucepan, add grated tempeh and vegetable stock. Simmer tempeh in stock for 10 minutes, uncovered, allowing the liquid to reduce. Remove tempeh and mix grated tempeh with oats, Braggs (or Tamari), water, oil and spices. Mixture should be moist enough to press into 12 patties.
2. Place patties on cookie sheet and spray lightly with cooking oil. Bake on each side till golden brown (about 5-10 minutes). Serve alone, or with creativity!
Ideas to Mix It Up:
Add your favorite spicy flavors to "up" the heat quotient
Mix with mashed potatoes to make Tempeh Sausage Potato Patties
Add a little agave syrup to add a touch of sweetness
Serve with guacamole and salsa
